Austin Butler gained worldwide fame and rave reviews for playing Elvis Presley in the film “Elvis” which he directed Baz Luhrmannbut now he has joined the cast of the film “Dune: Part 2”in which he will be the bloodthirsty villain Feyd-Rautha.
In a recent interview with Variety The Australian actor spoke about his experience in his first days working on the film: “It’s really surreal. You feel like a kid in your favorite movie. It’s like walking on the set of any movie you admire, like walking into a ‘Indiana Jones’ or something like that. Like one of those movies that really impacts you as a kid, that’s how it felt.”
“Dune Part 2” is directed by Denis Villeneuve and it will be released next year; in the movie Austin shares credits with zendaya Y Timothée Chalamet. He too commented that he agreed almost immediately to participate in a long-awaited film: “The first part I simply loved. It was a cinematic masterpiece, so the idea of being a part of that world is incredibly exciting. Denis is one of my favorite directors and just an amazing human being. He’s so kind and I’m a fan of every single actor in the movie, so I was really honored.”
