She is fed up with being called “heroes” to these little animals and believes that having won the soccer world cup is comparable to the rescue effort.
New controversies are always arising on social networks and this time it was the turn of an Argentine woman who unloaded all her hatred on some puppies. As far-fetched as it may seem, the woman spoke ill of the little animals that were simply doing her job because apparently, she could not stand the fame they acquired.

A few days ago, a terrible earthquake struck Syria and Turkey, sadly thousands of people lost their lives and others were trapped in the rubble. The rest of the world mobilized to send humanitarian aid to the affected region. One of the countries was Mexico, which supported a brigade of rescuers that included 16 dogs. One of them, named Proteus, lost his life in the line of duty for him.
This fact became world news and of course, everyone was talking about it on social networks too. The people quickly labeled Proteus and the rest of his companions as heroes and applauded the work they did. The team of canine pairs and human elements managed to rescue 4 people alive and recovered 29 bodies.

The universal
But for some reason, this annoyed Alejandra Veder, a woman from Argentina who calls herself a “servant of Latin America and the world.” She is a writer and offers courses to learn how to write a book bestseller in two months. However, the friendly image that she tries to give is far from reality because she attacked some innocent puppies.
In a video she uploaded to her TikTok account, she said she was sick of seeing so many videos about rescue puppies being sent to Turkey from Mexico. She criticized the people who were proud of the work that the dogs had done and assured that the Mexicans were egomaniacs.

“You are not there to be heroes, you are there to help the people of Turkey. Egomaniacs,” said Alejandra.
And everything seems to indicate that the woman spoke without thinking, because providing help in these cases of emergency is considered an act of heroism. For example, firefighters risk their lives to save someone else’s and are called heroes by society for that. The same happens with both human and animal rescuers, because they risk an accident but do it with all the will to save another.
Even so, Alejandra said she was very upset that people praised the canine pairings. To her, they are not heroes and there is no reason to be proud of what they did in a moment of crisis. She even dared to say that in Mexico they had to do things like this so that people could be proud of something.

But as if that were not enough, she dared to compare the work of the rescuers with the Argentine soccer players, whom she does consider true heroes. She mentioned that when her country won the soccer world cup in 2022, the Mexicans got angry and criticized them. Well, for Alejandra, a sports cup is a much bigger reason to feel proud than providing humanitarian aid.
The woman started receiving criticism and almost the same amount of hate that she gave, so she deleted her Tiktok account. Still, other users collected the original video and shared it. Below you can see it:
