If I had to stay with a single series from among the infinity of productions that have been released in recent years, it would take a thousandth of a second to stay with ‘Servant’; the Apple TV+ show that debuted under the label “the Shyamalan series” and has ended up becoming a real master class on how to tell stories in pictures and manage suspense with an impossible tone.
One last visit to Spruce Street
If you share this enthusiasm, you are in luck, because the apple platform has just shared the trailer for the fourth season of one of its flagships. An advance of a couple of minutes that promises a new odyssey for the Turner family full of tension, veiled terror, humor black as coal and that trademark audiovisual mastery.
Along with the juicy preview, which heats up the atmosphere in the face of a conclusion to Leanne’s war with the Church of Lesser Saints that could turn the entire city of Philadelphia upside down and that promises to give answers to all the unknowns that have been raised since the first seasonthe names of the directors who will sign the ten episodes that will culminate the story have been revealed: M. Night Shyamalan, Ishana Night Shyamalan, Carlo Mirabella-Davis, Dylan Holmes, Kitty Green, Nimrod Antal and the duos composed by Celine Held and Logan George, and Veronika Franz & Severin Fiala.
The fourth and final season of ‘Servant’, which will continue with the weekly premiere format, will start on Apple TV + next Friday, January 13, 2023, concluding on March 17 of the same year, and will once again feature performances by Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Nell Tiger Free and Rupert Grint. Let’s hope they know how to give their chest and put the end point to a potentially round series.
