    Until now there is no talk of a retirement from football, he is still part of Betis in Spain. On recent occasions he has declared his intention to continue at the club.

    At the age of 36, Guardado has expressed to the Spanish press: “I feel very comfortable here. I work with joy, I like the team, the institution, I have soaked myself in beticismo during all these years and right now I do not understand my life without Betis and the truth is that I am very excited about this end of the season”.
