We’re still waiting for what happens with the third season of ‘Konosuba’, because it’s confirmed but we still don’t know much more about it, but we’re going to have anime for a while and we’ll also return to your universe soon with a spin-off focused on Megumin.
Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!’ It’s a prequel to Megumin and it’s going to show us how she learns to use her powers and some facets of the anime that perhaps haven’t been explored as much in the main series.
hello new studio
For the third season of the original anime and also for ‘Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!‘ has changed studio, and this time we went to Drive. Still, the same creative team is still working on the anime, with Yujiro Abe Directing The Series, makoto uezu as main scriptwriter and Koichi Kikuta as a character designer.
We already knew that the spin-off would premiere in the spring but now it has been finalized that we will be able to see it from next 5th of April. It has also been confirmed that Machico’s ‘Stay Free’ will be the series’ theme song, with Rie Takahashi and Aki Toyosaki’s ‘Jump In’ serving as the ending theme.
For now the light novels of ‘Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!‘ are collected in 3 volumes and it is a fairly contained story. It has not yet been confirmed how long the anime will last, but considering that the third season is also underway it shouldn’t last more than 12 or 24 episodes… And perhaps the latter would already be taking it too long.
For now, it is not known for sure if we will be able to see it in simulcast or if it will end up reaching a streaming platform, although the first two seasons of the anime are available on Netflix.
The main series of ‘Konosuba’ focuses on Kazuma Sato, a very reclusive boy who dies trying to save himself from being run over. However, he wakes up in a fantasy world much like an online video game where he teams up with a paladin, an archmage, and a beautiful goddess named Aqua to defeat a demon king.
