This is Amazon Studios (which you are looking for) has revealed a whole secret weapon: the signing of Joe Quesadaone of the most influential figures of the ninth art of the last three decades.
As announced, the former creative director of Marvel (since he left in 2022), has signed a “first look deal” agreement to develop multiple series and films, focusing, of course, on comic book adaptations. Something of which he already had experience as a producer in the now defunct Marvel Entertainment.
All a great signing due to the curriculum that Quesada has. Coming from the world of indie comics, the writer and editor came to a bankrupt Marvel in which little by little they let him experiment with new ways of doing things. For example, the creation of the Marvel Knights imprint where he brought together street heroes (Daredevil, Punisher, etc.) in comics for more mature readers.

Already in 2000 he was promoted to chief editor, achieving in his first years a whole renaissance of Marvel with a new era of splendor thanks to lines like MAX, Ultimate and sagas and events like Avengers disunited, Civil War, etc. Some, yes, took the hatred of the entire fandom as ‘One more day’ of the ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ from JM Straczynski.
But, in short, much of what Marvel is today we owe to him and his vision of how the comics industry should work in the 21st century.
