Although we normally think more of Crunchyroll and Netflix when we talk about streaming anime, Amazon Prime Video is not short either and it has a pretty nice catalog where in addition to classics like ‘Shingeki no Kyojin’ and ‘Naruto’ we can see many anime movies.
We already had some great franchise titles, but if you are fans of ‘Dragon Ball’, ‘One Piece’ and ‘Boku no Hero Academia’, the platform has just surprised us by expanding its catalogue.
Doing the longest anime marathons
Since January 29 they have arrived on the platform ‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’ Y ‘Dragon Ball Z: The Resurrection of F’. Both films are canon within the anime continuity and specifically ‘Broly’ has some of the best animated scenes we have seen in the entire franchise.
In the field of superheroes, until recently we had the three ‘Boku no Hero Academia’ films available on Prime Video but only for rent. But now too’Boku no Hero Academia: Two Heroes’, ‘Boku no Hero Academia: Heroes Awakening’ and ‘Boku no Hero Academia: World Quest of Heroes’ they are also directly inside the catalog.
So if you want to expand the plots of the series a little more, it is a good idea to turn to the movies to see additional missions from the students of class 1-A.
The other big news is that two of the most recent ‘One Piece’ movies are also coming to the platform: ‘One Piece: Stampede‘ Y ‘One Piece Film: Gold’which we can also see as accessory adventures of the Straw Hats.
All these anime movies that enter Amazon Prime Video do so in addition both in the original version in Japanese and with dubbing in Spanish. It depends on the film, but in some cases it is also available in Basque and Catalan dubbing.
