There are just a few days left for Disney + to premiere the highly anticipated ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ this coming Friday, May 27. Obviously, the series continues the story of a well-known character from the ‘Star Wars’ universe, something that they have taken advantage of on the streaming platform itself to make a small guide to movies and series episodes that should be seen before getting into ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’.
Four movies and several episodes of the same series
From Disney + they propose start with ‘The Phantom Menace’, the first installment of the second trilogy created by george lucas. The second step is to see the plot arc that counts chapters 15 to 18 of the fourth season of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’, in which Obi-Wan fakes his own death to infiltrate a Republic prison. Then we go back to the movies, specifically ‘Attack of the Clones’, the first time that Hayden Christensen brought Anakin Skywalker to life.
The fourth viewing takes us back to the series ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ to retrieve episodes 14 to 16 of the series’ fifth season, where Darth Maul, who was about to be the main villain of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’, has a very relevant role. And immediately afterwards we return to the cinema, but to put on ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’, the animated film directed by Dave Philoni in 2008 and which takes place shortly after the events narrated in ‘Attack of the Clones’.
We continue with another film, because with ‘Revenge of the Sith’ we complete the prequel trilogy that, among other things, told us about Obi-Wan’s young years. To finish, from Disney + they return once again to the series ‘The Clone Wars’. This time to the second season to see chapters 12 to 16, where Obi-Wan has to protect Duchess Satine, the pacifist leader of Mandalore at the time.
The truth is that from Disney + they proposed these viewings a few days ago to see one thing a day before the premiere of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’, so you will have to do a extra effort if you want to do it before Friday.
