The couple held the religious wedding in the Temple of San Juan Macías, which is located in the municipality of Zapopan, in Jalisco. Although both have been married civilly since May, the ceremony was postponed due to the health problems faced by Vicente Fernández.

The couple had already performed a spiritual ceremony so that God would recognize their decision to be engaged forever. This celebration took place in an intimate way in 2021, at the Puerto Vallarta house of the singer Alexander Fernandezwho is Alex’s father.
For the ceremony, the couple decided to follow their roots with a charro-type dress for him. For the religious ceremony there were mariachis and a DJ at the party who entertained the night so that everyone could dance. The first dance of both as husband and wife took place with the song “Hoy te prometo”, by Il Divo and also “Sing heart”, a song by Alejandro, father of the groom.
Alexia’s wedding dress was designed by her and had it made to measure and had various lace details, as well as a large veil of translucent fabric that allowed all the details of the piece to be seen.
“El Potrillo” was in charge of leaving his son in front of the altar and giving him the blessing so that he would go to the altar together with his wife. In total, Alexia wore two more changes of clothes, one of them based on a Hindu style used for weddings.
