Alexander Fernandez It has been a trend on social networks due to a series of confessions and statements that it has given in recent days, one of them about his debut when he was 5 years old, which “traumatized him” thanks to his father, the late Vicente Fernández.
In an interview that ‘El Potrillo’ gave Yordi Rosado for his YouTube channel, the artist talked about his first steps in the industry and recalled that he had a sour experience when he debuted on the Televisa program ‘Siempre en Domingo’, hosted by Raul Velasco.
“It is a lesson that my father gave me, that presentation did cause me some trauma, but in the end it made me understand that no matter how bad things go, you have to finish them”he confessed.
At the time when Alejandro started, it was very popular for Raúl Velasco to interview artists who wanted to get their career off the ground. For this reason “El Charro de Huentitán” did not hesitate to take his youngest son to that program.
The singer of hits like ‘Un Millón de Primaveras and ‘El Rey’ selected the song ‘Alejandra’ for Alejandro to perform and sent him to make some musical arrangements without notifying him. What was catastrophic because what he had rehearsed did not resemble the music that was accompanying him in the presentation.
“I already knew it with the instrumental arrangement and my father changed everything for me. I was 5 years old, I couldn’t say anything to my dad. When I go on stage I see the audience, I freeze, I didn’t know what to do, he forgot, my mind went blank ”explained Alejandro Fernández.
Don Chente “taught” him to consume alcohol
Although the recent confession about his childhood has impacted many, it is not the first time that Alejandro leaves many speechless by telling family anecdotes, such as the time he assured that his father was the one who taught him to “drink alcohol” before giving a show.
“He was the one who introduced me, I was too painful, very painful. My dad, I think that with the intention of getting my nerves down when he was going to introduce me, he told me ‘Ch… have a little cognac’ and I liked him. (That day) I hadn’t taken it for two months. Nor does it mean that I had lasted 10 months drinking, suddenly, at my concerts, I do like to take my little drink because it helps me, somehow relaxes me. I suffer from panic attacks, from anxiety, then suddenly one drink, two drinks, helps a lot”he confessed to Roberto Martínez, from Creativo.
