Although we love it, not all aspects of summer are positive. With the rise in temperatures, mosquitoes also arrive, those unwanted visitors who insist on not letting us sleep and cause annoying bites. If you don’t put the right means, more than one night you will despair with the buzz of one of these insects waiting for their moment to suck your blood. To avoid this, there are different solutions such as mosquito nets for windows, Mercadona anti-mosquito candles, Lidl anti-mosquito (and decorative) geraniums or this curious lamp from Aldi.
We have found this Quigg brand lamp at Aldi and it is ideal for killing mosquitoes. It works by issuing an ultraviolet light that attracts those annoying insects. In this way, when they approach it, the lamp activates its suction mechanism, trapping them inside it, thus preventing us from being victims of its buzzing and pecking.
With a radius of action of 18 m² and a modern design that makes it fit in any setting, it is also available in two models: round and oval. Of course, on the Aldi website they warn that it is for indoor use. Something that contradicts what is shown in the photographs that promote the lamp, where the lamp appears on terraces.
Another advantage that this lamp offers is that it is compact and portable, so we can move it without difficulty anywhere. In addition, it can be connected to any USB port to charge it. And not only that, but it’s so cheap that you can buy several to spread around the house, or to take with you on vacation. Its price is 14.99 euros.
