For some of us, 2022 has been a little longer than necessary without a new season of ‘aggretsuko‘, and especially because the fourth round of chapters left us with the possibility of more.
The lack of news seemed to indicate that perhaps there would be a cancellation by Netflix, but during the weekend it has finally been confirmed that no, that we will have a fifth and final season to be able to properly say goodbye to all the characters.
The last season for Retsuko
During Netflix’s Tudum event it was announced that ‘aggretsuko‘ will have a season 5 and that the cast and creative team of the previous seasons return in the production of the new season.

Netflix has also shared some first images of the new chapters, where we can see some of the characters that will return, including Haida, Manaka, and Retsuko, of course.
The specific day is yet to be confirmed, but in the promotional material Netflix promises that season 5 of ‘aggretsuko‘ will arrive on the platform in february 2023.
