Adrianne Palicki was born on May 6, 1983, and her acting career started in 2003 in the short film Rewrite, while on television she is recognized as Tyra Collete in Friday Night Lights, a series that aired between 2006 and 2011. , and from 2014 to 2016 he was part of the cast of Agents of SHIELD in La Casa de Enfrente.
But Adrianne Palacki managed to make history within DC Comics by playing three different roles, the first dating back to 2003, when she played the first version of Kara Zor-El in Smallville, for the final episode of season 3.
Despite being one of the expected characters in the series, Kara’s appearance was brief, as the real Kara appears in Season 7, where actress Laura Vandervoort plays Kal-El’s cousin.
From Smallville to the seven seas
In 2006 came the second opportunity for Palicki, who was selected to play Nadia, an important character for the series Aquaman, which was considered as a spin-off of Smallville.
Unfortunately, the pilot of the Aquaman series did not have the expected impact among the executives of the CW chain, who decided not to go ahead with this production.
And the opportunity came from Themiscyra, but…
Five years later, in 2011, one of the most important opportunities would come for Palicki, who was selected to play Diana Prince in the series Wonder Woman that NBC network planned to broadcast.
Produced by David E. Kelly, the creator of the Allie McBeal series, this show would bring us the adventures of Diana Prince, a businesswoman who would fight crime.
But the leaked photos of the production, added to the cold response of the “focus group” who saw the pilot, led NBC to cancel the project in 2012.
