According to information provided by the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office, on December 18 three bodies were found in a house in the Roma neighborhood, in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office, belonging to the brothers Andrés and Jorge Tirado, who were reported as missing on December 16, and an older adult, their uncle.
Given the unfortunate news, the Secretary of Citizen Security of the country’s capital, Omar García Harfuch, confirmed the arrest of three people related to the death of the brothers. Initially, they were presented as witnesses, but after investigations, they have been detained as suspects.
In unofficial reports it was indicated that the youths were found at home gagged with cinnamon tape and that they showed signs of torture. However, they are still carrying out an analysis to find out how the brothers died.
