Over the weekend, TMZ reported that Aaron Carter, singer and brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, has died at the age of 34.
According to the media outlet, Aaron was found dead and in the bathtub at his home in Lancaster, California, by cleaning staff.
According to reports, the police would have received a call for help around 11:00 am local time, reporting a man drowned in the bathtub.
Emergency bodies went to the scene to investigate what happened, discovering that it was the singer and actor Aaron Carter. At the moment there are no further details about the death. However, his older brother, Nick Carter, and actress Hilary Duff, who was his teenage love, have already dedicated a beautiful farewell to him through social networks.
Aaron was known for his courtships with Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes and Kaci Brown, with whom he had a temporary relationship, since in November 2021 he became a father with Melanie Martin.
Despite only having had a teenage romance, Hilary showed her love and respect for Aaron with her beautiful goodbye message on Instagram.
To Aaron: I am deeply sorry that life has been so hard for you and that you had to fight in front of everyone. You had a charm that was absolutely effervescent. My teenage self loved you dearly. Sending love to your family right now. Rest easy.

On the other hand, it is known that Nick and Aaron did not have a good relationship. In fact, in 2019, Nick filed for a restraining order against his brother, so Aaron couldn’t get close to him or any of his family members.
Nick and his sister Angel sought psychological and medical help for Aaron, but he never accepted. Since then, their relationship as brothers has been fractured, but despite this, Nick gave moving words before his departure.
My heart is broken. Although my brother and I had a complicated relationship, my love for him never faded. I always held on to the hope that somehow one day I would want to walk down a healthy path and finally find the help that I so desperately needed. Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness are the real villains here.
I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chiz. Now you can finally have the peace that you could never find here on earth… God, please take care of my little brother.
