The company 20th Century Studios announced that filming will begin this month on a new film in the saga of “alien”, with locations in Budapest, Hungary. The director will be Uruguayan Fede Alvarezresponsible for successes such as “Don’t breathe”, evil dead and “The girl in the spider’s web”.
The tape (which has the tentative title of “Alien: Romulus”) will be part of the prequels to the 1979 film that have been released since 2012, and will show a group of young people who unexpectedly face strange creatures that gradually kill them.
In the main cast of “Aliens: Romulus” stand out David Johnson, Isabella Merced, Aileen Wu and Spike Fearn; the US premiere could be later this year. Álvarez himself wrote the script and Ridley Scott -director of the original film “alien”– will serve as executive producer.
