In the Marvel Cinematic Universe we have seen the origin of different characters, one of them in the plot of The Incredible Hulk, a villain who has not yet returned to Marvel Studios productions
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most ambitious projects of the last two decades, where movies and series have been connected in different ways, but there is a villain that Marvel Studios seems to have forgotten.

Let’s go back to 2008, the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, when Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk hit theaters.
In the film of the Emerald Giant, which starred Edward Norton, Liv Tyler and William Hurt, one of the important scenes of the film places us in the laboratories of the University of York, where Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake Nelson) enters the scene. )
After Sterns tests his antidote on Banner, special forces capture the fugitive scientist and Emil Blonsky asks Sterns to inject him with the same solution as Banner, which turns him into Abomination.
Blonsky knocks out Sterns, who begins to receive drops of Banner’s blood, which transforms him into The Leader, an intelligent villain like the Hulk.
In the comics pages, the leader debuted in the pages of Tales to Astonish #66 (April 1965), and his powers are derived from a gamma radiation accident, much like Bruce Banner’s.
Where is The Leader?
However, despite the first characters that came to the MCU, The Leader is not yet contemplated to appear in any Marvel Studios production.
In 2021 Emil Blonsky, now in his guise as Abomination, returned in a guest appearance in Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings, and this character will be part of the cast of the first season of She-Hulk.
Although there are still no plans for The Leader to reappear in the MCU, according to Kevin Feige, this character is still on the horizon for Marvel Studios, as he said in a 2017 interview that SMASH reported to you at the time.
“It’s a shame the wealth of places we could go or characters we could reprise or bring back now that we can… just by looking for the right place. And like I said, if you can’t do it right, don’t do it or do it later, and the notion of “Hey, I’m here too! I’m next!” We are not interested”.
