Produced in Atotonilco el Alto, Tequila Siete Leguas toasts this 2022 for seven decades of history and success, and it does so with a limited edition white tequila made from Creole agaves, emulating the first batch of Siete Leguas that was produced in 1952.
“At Casa Siete Leguas, the artisanal flavor of Mexico is born, which is nourished by experience and respect for the authentic processes of tequila,” says the tequila maker.
For this exclusive edition we thought of the blue agaves, Tequilana Weber, which grow wild on the slopes of the hills “at the mercy of nature”, since on those slopes the rainwater does not stop due to the slope of them, which causes the plant to mature more slowly, producing a smaller pineapple but with greater flavor and concentration of sugars.
And although the production of tequila today is an industry that leaves millions, the truth is that finding a distillate as pure as in its beginnings is really rare, so this edition shows the first steps of that House and the evolution of tequila through through his land and wild pineapples.
