Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey (Documentary Mini-series) – June 8.
Created by Rachel Dretzin, it is a documentary series that looks at the life and times of the prophet Rulon Jeffs and his son, Warren Jeffs. Since they created a sect in the 80’s that caused a lot of controversy at the time. In fact, Warren Jeffs is currently in prison serving two consecutive life sentences.
First Kill (First season) – June 10.
Created by Felicia D. Anderson, this vampire story is based on the short story by VE Schwab. The protagonist will be Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) who must start with her first death and choose Calliope (Imani Lewis) a newcomer to the city. But things will not be what they seem. This series aims to be a mix between Twilight and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Peaky Blinders (Season 6) – June 10
One of the most anticipated Netflix releases. Created by Steven Knight, one of the best series of today returns. This will be the final season as Tommy (Cillian Murphy) and his family return for one last trip. So we witness the rise of fascism and we will also see how they have resolved the real-life death of the actress Helen McCrorrywho played Aunt Polly.
God’s Favorite Idiot (Season 1) – June 15.
Created by Ben Falcone, the protagonists are the comedians Ben Falcone and Melissa McCarthy. In this series, God decides to entrust Clark (Ben Falcone) to save the world, but as the title itself indicates, it may not be the best decision.
The Umbrella Academy (Season 3) – June 22.
