Making a movie is not an easy task. The intervention of many people is required to start the project and of course, a lot, a lot of money.
Although the quality of a movie is defined by the story, the script, and the performances, among others; and not by the number of numbers in the budget; this is an important factor. Someone can have an impressive idea but if they don’t have enough resources, the film can be a box office flop; or not even get to a movie theater. Even so, there are stories that managed to be a resounding success with little budget and raise much more than expected.
Here we want to show you a list of some movies that had a low budget but despite that, were so well executed that they ended up sweeping theaters. Either because they were the first projects of actors and directors who later became famous, or because they introduced a new concept to the seventh art, or because it was the emergence of a legendary character; all of them became works of worship.
The criterion for choosing these tapes was based on the comparison of the budget and what was collected at the box office; those with a maximum budget of one million dollars were taken. While the success was measured by ratings from Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, two of the biggest websites for movie reviews and reviews.
